Where I live, I have city water, and the city charges over $2500 just to install an irrigation system water meter, which is required in my location.

Thank you. I've been thinking about adding irrigation as I have half an acre and an HOA that likes to send letters for dead spots. It's getting very old having to water by hand daily for 30 minutes. I will be looking into doing the same that you did.

Outside corners? Thanks in advance
Good question! On outside corners I normally dress each side with 1x4 ripping 3/4" off of one of the 1x4's so that the width on both sides are the same when butted together. Helps to protect the corner and the reveal from the shiplap to the 1x4 is clean plus easy to caulk the crack. Take care

Thanks for watching! Yea that the biggest thing is that contracters are charging in 2x the material costs for labor so a $1000 project in material is costing you $3000. That 2 more projects if you do it yourself! Not only that but no one cares more about your property than yourself so the job is done right with care! Take Care

Why do you use construction adhesive for furniture? Some woodglue would do. This stuff is awful for the environment and way more expensive. Just makes no sense IMO
Wood glue isn't strong enough and when u add in the wet and cold environment it fails. Wood glue is best for indoor and more fine wood working. Can't agree the benifits to environment but it's sold on shelves so I assume it's safe enough. Take care

I recently bought a new build and I have a section in my living room where the fireplace was supposed to go so the side walls are already built. Do I have to remove the carpet in that area to do this project?
Nope you don't for sure. It puts out plenty of heat but the unit itself doesn't get hot. We really like it! Thx for watching
Cool stuff. But why are you using liquid nail on wood. For the love of god, please use wood glue. lol. Wood glue penetrates the wood where liquid glue bonds two surfaces at one point. Not the same outcome over the long run. That’s why woodworks use wood glue.
Thx for watching. LN is designed for this particular application and rated for outdoor use. Wood glue not nearly as strong and is designed more for finishing fine woodworking. I have used both and no question I used the right product for this job. LN is great stuff. Take care.

If for instance you have a 12 foot ceiling and 12 foot boards, do you have to have a break in those boards when installing?
I don't think you need a break as long as you have room at both ends for expansion. 1/8 to a 1/4 is plenty and honestly I'm not sure if it really does expand at all. Mine is doing well no issues and it's in a basement. Thx for watching
Have you tried it with a regular (non-cordless) saw? I know you had it plugged in, just wonder if that saws needs less start-up wattage than a regular saw
I have not mainly because I don't have one. With that said I can't see why it would make a different since the saw I have is likely to pull the same. I know when observing the start up power on my saw with the battery app there was plenty more power left. I did use the 20amp socket. Thx for watching
